How a user turns on notifications varies depending on what browser is used. Directions on how to turn notifications on for some of the most used browsers are listed below.
Chrome
1. Select the three little dots in the upper right corner of the browser
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Choose 'Privacy and security' from the menu on the left
4. Select 'Site settings'
5. In the Permissions section, select 'Notifications'
6. Click on 'Add' next to the allow to send notifications section
7. Enter https://secure.lochbox.app into the Add Site field
Firefox
1. Click the Lock icon in the URL bar at the top of the page
2. Select 'Connection secure'
3. Next click on 'More information'
4. From the options at the top of the pop-up choose 'Permissions'
5. Scroll down to the 'Send notifications' section, uncheck the 'Use Default' box and choose 'Allow'
Brave
1. Click on the Brave menu in the upper right corner (three stacked lines)
2. Choose 'Settings'
3. Select 'Privacy and Security' from the menu on the left
4. Turn on the option to 'Use Google services for push messaging'
